Beautification Strategy

It’s time to update Vaughan’s Beautification Strategy to plan for the future of more than 550 flower planters, 750 hanging baskets, 800 shrub beds and 200,000 trees maintained by the City. The original plan was created and approved in 2016 and implemented in 2017.

The main goal of the strategy was to define beautification and outline a plan to implement it throughout the community. The City of Vaughan is now undertaking a comprehensive review of this Beautification Strategy to be certain it continues to meet the community’s needs.

The Beautification Strategy Update survey ran from Saturday, April 3 to Sunday, April 18, 2021. The survey is now closed. Thank you to those who participated in providing input into this strategy review. Feedback collected through this review process will help the City to reassess current service levels.
